There is so much pressure to be perfect in every way.
You need to be perfect. You need to have the perfect career, the perfect home, the perfect children, the perfect life. Whether you are a perfectionistic mom in the grips of an overthinking mind, or a student athlete who constantly feels the pressure to perform, I help overthinking perfectionists learn how to relax without guilt and enjoy their lives without the shame of feeling inadequate. In therapy, we will work together to challenge the idea of being perfect, to feel good about setting boundaries and to stop the people pleasing cycle, in order to move through life feeling more empowered, transformed, and in control.
My counseling practice is inclusive and secular based, I am a social justice oriented therapist who welcomes all cultures, backgrounds, and genders. My office is fully accessible and I am safe for all families and individuals, including anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. If you have questions or want more information about my commitment to diversity and inclusion, please feel free to email or call me anytime.

Perfectly Imperfect Women
I once heard a woman describe her style of parenting as"teeth and toenails parenting". As in "I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth, and the tips of my toenails." Relatable? Yep, I thought so too.
Parenting is no joke, there is no end to the to-do list, and the kids never seem to cooperate with letting you be the perfect mom you feel pressured to be. Whether you have just added a baby to the family or your baby has slipped into the teen years, understanding your current role as a mother and then navigating your role successfully may look differently to you than you anticipated. Maybe your house seems to always have the pile of dirty dishes in the sink and the mountain of laundry waiting to be folded, or you're the momma who needs a safe place to work through the emotions of parenting a child with special needs, or you're navigating your professional life and the modern ideals of motherhood with the pressure to be successful at both. Whether it be a professional challenge, parenting issue, or a general feeling of disconnection to your current role, I would love to spend time working with you and to help you reconnect to your ideal version of being a mother. Using humor and unconditional positive regard, my goal is to help you...learn to breath, learn to balance, and learn to grow.
In addition to working with women, I also welcome adolescents, college students, and high school and college athletes. I have a long history of working with high school and college students and have found that the pressures to be perfect while in school can be extraordinarily challenging in ways that aren’t always as obvious as they might first appear.
